GFPDC has a strong commitment to safety. GFPDC integrates our client’s safety policies into our health and safety plan (HASP) to create a job specific HASP for each project. Our primary concern on any project is the safety of our managers and subcontractors, clients, and the public. All GFPDC employees, managers, and supervisors complete a leadership competent person training, and we have created a corporate safety culture that continuously reminds our managers and subcontractors that each one of us has a duty and responsibility to maintain our own safety and the safety of those around our work.
GFPDC employees a full time Director of Health and Safety, Charles Raziano. During his tenure he has earned the credential of CUSP (Certified Utility Safety Professional) with Transmission & Distribution endorsement). He is a certified safety professional and instructor in BLS First Aid, CPR & AED, OSHA 502 Outreach Trainer and 10 & 20 Hour T&D endorsement Trainer, Forklift- Aerial Lift, High Angle Climbing & Rescue trainer and a Qualified DOT Drug Screening Administrator. He is also a current member of the World Safety Organization (WSO), the National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP) and Utility Safety & Ops Leadership Network (USOLN).

Mr. Raziano provides strong support for field operations and is always working to improve not only safety but also encouraging a high level of excellence with in GFPDC’s safety culture. He is working to ensure that all employees are up to date on all safety standards and certifications.
